New Product: The RRB (Remote Receiver Board). When coupled with a Sparkfun wireless module, the RRB lets you receive and output serially data from an AI-01 remote, drive servo motors, and 8 I/O lines. With 2 or more RRBs you can have easy wireless bi-directional communication for your robot projects.
>Active Innovations recently visited East Cobb Middle School in Marietta, Georgia. Mr Fred Stillwell teaches an outstanding technology class there, incorporating many different programs to get students engaged and excited about careers in technology. His classes are active in FIRST, BEST and Formula 1 competitions.
>In 2008, he introduced the AI-01 to his classroom. His fleet of AI-01s serve to play RFL games for fun, but also for education. Students modify the robots or even create new attachments. Active Innovations provides support to educators to reprogram the robots to meet their classroom needs.
